Site Challenge
Lot-by-lot foundation design for a production homebuilder needs consistent subsurface data on every lot, delivered fast enough to keep up with construction, on Fort Bend County soils that move with moisture.
Work Performed
Quartet Engineers drilled geotechnical borings on the residential lots at Rockrose Ranch, logged and sampled the soils, and tested them in its A2LA-accredited laboratory. The engineering team then developed foundation recommendations for each lot for Century Communities.
